Position Summary:

The Associate Advisor position at Tower Leadership offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to embark on a consulting career within the medical space. As an Associate Advisor, you will work closely with one of our Senior Business Advisors, assisting them in guiding clients towards achieving their goals. This role involves shadowing the Senior Business Advisor during client sessions, taking detailed notes, preparing for meetings, and providing post-meeting followups. You will be the advisor's trusted assistant, supporting project management, participating in phone calls and recordings, and gaining practical experience on the job.

To excel in this position, excellent communication skills are essential. Additionally, you should feel comfortable working with business financials, including P&Ls and balance sheets, and possess a genuine desire to help businesses succeed. Obtaining an insurance license is a requirement for this role, and Tower Leadership will aid in obtaining the license if necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Shadow and assist a Senior Business Advisor during client one-on-one sessions.
• Take detailed notes during client meetings and maintain accurate records.
• Help prepare the Senior Business Advisor for each client session by gathering relevant information and materials.
• Follow up with clients after meetings to ensure their needs are addressed and provide additional support if necessary.
• Act as the right-hand person to the advisor, assisting in project management and coordinating tasks.
• Listen to phone calls and recordings to gain insights and learn from real-life consulting scenarios.
• Develop a strong understanding of business financials, including P&Ls and balance sheets.
• Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work towards obtaining an insurance license and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success of projects and client engagements.
• Demonstrate a genuine desire to help businesses achieve their goals and provide exceptional client ervice.
• Continuously learn and grow by leveraging the experience and expertise of the team.

Education / Professional Experience:

• University degree or other relevant qualification.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of basic business principles.
• Familiarity with business financials, including profit and loss statements (P&Ls), balance sheets, and financial analysis.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide practical solutions.
• Comfort and proficiency in working with business financials, including P&Ls, balance sheets, and financial statements.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in notetaking and record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Insurance license or willingness to obtain the license with assistance from Tower Leadership.
• Previous experience in consulting, customer service, financial analysis, or project management (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge or experience in the medical or healthcare industry (preferred but not required).
